► The iconic TV presenters and comedian Paul O'Grady died yesterday evening at the age of 67. His partner Andre Portasio, said he passed away "unexpectedly but peacefully".

Nothing short of a national treasure, he'll be remembered for his shows like 'Blind Date' and 'Blankety Blank' and for bringing his trailblazing drag persona 'Lily Savage' to mainstream audiences. His hugely popular turn as Lily Savage coincided with his role as a much-admired campaigner for the LGBTQ+ community and animal rights.
