Hiking Black Butte - Yellowstone National Park

This is a hike on the Black Butte trail up to the Sky Rim Trail at about 9,950 feet. It is about 14 miles round trip and you will do a total of about 4,300 ft. elevation gain after doing the entire hike. It has a good trail except for some down timber in about 4 places on the trail. Watch the cliffs for mountain sheep. You will always see them. I didn't see a bear on this hike but I did see bear tracks all along the trail.
