In this clip, Lyor Cohen happily commented on 300 being sold for around $400 million. It was revealed that Lyor had not been actively involved in the company at the time it was sold. Nevertheless, he described the deal as utterly overwhelming, especially since the company was initially started in his den amidst a lot of criticisms. In this litigious era in the US, Vlad raised the possibility of legal issues spilling over into the music industry. Particularly a scenario where an artist who raps about violence could potentially cause the victim of that violence to sue the record label for promoting it. However, Lyor expressed that he had no clue about such matters and stressed the need for a more reasonable approach to the legal system.
