Each day we are looking back over the last 12 months. Today, we look back to the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Her Majesty had a close relationship with the Army, dating back to World War 2 when she served as a junior officer in the Auxiliary Territorial Service. We were proud to honour both this longstanding relationship and our longest-reigning monarch.
