It’s Day 7 of the British Army’s Advent calendar! Let’s see what’s behind the window.

Each day we are looking back over the last 12 months. Only today we’re looking up to the skies! Ex Talon Guardian saw the debut of the Apache AH-64E Helicopter. For its maiden flight in the field, helicopter pilots from 3 Regiment Army Air Corps took them out as part of the exercise.

Apache pilot Captain ‘H’ described the helicopter upgrade as like “changing your mobile phone from a Nokia 3310 to an iPhone 14”.
