Are Russians superstitious?

Russians are incredibly superstitious and love all things like star signs, Chinese zodiac and what things are lucky and unlucky.

In my entire life living in the UK, I think I was asked about my zodiac sign about 2 times. In Russia I think it must come up in conversation weekly. When I did a poll on Instagram, almost every Russian who voted said they believed in the Zodiac. When people hear I am a Scorpio, I get a certain reaction. In the UK I’d mainly just get a shrug and a so what. So, that’s just one superstitious thing many Russians believe, but what else is there? I complied a list of 6 different superstitions I’ve personally encountered here in Russia.
