Titan Missile Museum: SLFCS Antenna
The Titian Missile Museum received its SLFCS (Survivable Low Frequency Communications System) antenna from another Titan II site. This is the only one known to exist aboveground. The SLFCS worked on very low frequencies, which meant it could be buried and protected from the heat and blast effects of a nuclear detonation. It could carry only data, not voice, messages, and hard copies of its messages were printed out in the Launch Control Center.
