By one of the GOAT... Prince, himself...
This rendition of "Little Red Corvette" was borrowed from my dear friend + brother in music, Michael DiSanto. When I was 15 years old, I'd go to an open mic night at what used to be called The Stillwater on Delaware Ave. in downtown Buffalo, NY. As a solo act with acoustic guitar in hand, could hear a pin drop when Mike would play this song.
A couple years back, my friend Mike had a stroke + ever since, he has been in recovery.. Relearning to do the simplest things most of us do daily, such as walk. I pray one day, God gets him back to doing what he loves.
I, finally, mustered up the nerve to record a Live version of my own that is directly reflective of the one I loved listening to growing up... Michael DiSanto's version. Love you, my friend..
