Beef bone broth, also known as beef stock, is a high end culinary recipe that can be used to make delicious soups, stews, and pan sauces! Ingredients:
-6 pounds assorted beef bones
-2 stalks celery
-2 onions
-2 carrots
-2 cloves garliv
-1 tablespoon cooking oil
-3 tablespoons tomato paste
-1 cup dry red wine
-10 black peppercorns
-1/2 teaspoon salt
Tips:
-Be sure to roast your beef bones for 40-50 minutes or until they are nicely browned.
-Use tomato paste and red wine to add acidity and to help extract maximum flavor, nutrients, and gelatin from the bones.
-Be sure to cook the stock at a very gentle simmer and do not let it boil.
-Simmer the stock for no less than 6 hours and up to 24 hours (more is better) to extract the most from your beef bones!
-Be sure to start with cold water when cooking stock.
