What silence can teach us | Holly Blais | TEDxSNHU

A brain injury changed Dr. Holly Blais's experience with a neurodivergent mind, leaving an unfamiliar silence and stillness. The silence was unsettling—and also transformative.

In this TEDxSNHU talk, Dr. Blais explores how silence created space to listen differently: to herself, to others, and to what truly matters. She invites us to reconsider silence not as absence, but as a teacher—and listening as a powerful form of presence. Dr. Holly K. Blais is a graduate from Southern New Hampshire University’s Doctor of Education program and a board-certified behavior analyst. She is the founder of Projectlife Services LLC, a consulting practice that works with school districts to strengthen systems of support. Her background includes more than 25 years of experience in special education, behavioral analysis and professional training. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
