Ingredients:
For the Dal Makhani

• Whole black urad dal (sabut urad): 1 cup
• Red kidney beans (rajma): 2 tbsp
• Chana dal : 2 tbsp
• Water: for soaking + cooking
• Salt: to taste
• Turmeric powder: ½ tsp
• Butter
• Ghee (you can use oil too)
• Ginger-garlic paste
• Tomatoes pureed
• Red chili powder
• Coriander powder
• Rosted Cumin (jeera) powder
• Kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves)
• Fresh cream: ¼ cup (or more if you like it creamier)
• Fresh green Coriander for garnishing

Ingredients:
Jeera rice

• Rice: 1 cup
• Water: 1.75 to 2 cups (depending on rice type)
• Cumin seeds (jeera): 1 to 1.5 tsp
• Ghee or oil: 1.5 tbsp (ghee gives a richer flavor)
• Bay leaf: 1 (optional)
• Dry Red chili: 1, slit (optional)
• Salt: to taste
• Fresh green Coriander for garnishing
Ingredients:
Mint Chutney (Pudina Chutney)

• Fresh mint leaves
• Fresh coriander leaves
• Green chili: 1–2 (adjust to taste)
• Lemon juice: 1–2 tsp
• Salt: to taste
• Water: 2–4 tbsp (as needed to blend)
