Budget Travel to Osaka, Kyoto and Nara at $1,000!

This was our first time visiting Japan in 2016, and we chose to visit Kansai area including Osaka, Kyoto and Nara.

We were on a super tight budget.
Accommodation wise, we were lucky to be able to secure couchsurfing at Kyoto and Nara, however not in Osaka, and that's we did camping in Osaka instead.

Transportation wise, most of the time we were walking around, and renting a bike which was actually affordable.

Food wise, most of time we bought our food from Family Mart, and some affordable fast food chain.
