Staffordshire & Worcestershire Canal - t'Fog

This strange phenomonum we found immediately north of the Autherley Narrows. No real problems with Danger Keep Out signs but the odd sign on the towing path saying what was going on would have been nice.
I think the good lady wife was right, the BIFO Machines of Destruction were clearing up an old toxic waste site
OS Maps and Satellite images show something akin to the Somme and we wonder how much the two factories on the other side of the cut might have been responsible for this.
