Bridgewater Canal - Waters Meeting to Castlefield Junction

This movie comprises most of the last video tape that is still in our possession from our (then) brand new, $3,000, Sony VX2100 video camera.

Having failed to recognize Duke's Lock and the start of the Rochdale Canal (thinking it was an ornamental water feature) we cruised up and down side arms before finding ourselves heading back the way we had come. Somewhere near the Potato Wharf Arm we turned the boat once again and soon found that the camera, tripod and all was no longer aboard. It is missing, presumed dead, at the bottom of the Bridgewater Canal.

The more superstitious amongst you may be interested to learn that this final tape is labeled Camera 1 -- Tape 013. Cosmologists may speculate that had we labeled the tape Camera 1 -- Tape 012A then we would have caused a branch point to a parallel universe where the camera was never lost and we would be $3,000 better off not having to have bought a replacement.

If anyone happens to be cruising the northern end of the Bridgewater Canal near to the Potato Wharf Arm and dredges up the camera we would be very interested to see the tape labeled Camera 1 -- Tape 014 AND FIND OUT WHO DUNNIT!
