Searching for a new job? Building AI skills before you apply is a smart move

Listing Artificial intelligence or AI skills on your resume could give you a boost in Canada’s job market, according to recent reports from Canadian employers.

Research by Amazon published last November suggests two-thirds (66 per cent) of Canadian employers prioritize candidates with AI skills. Of these, 77 per cent face difficulties hiring qualified talent.

However, as the global race to take advantage of AI technology deepens, building up the necessary skills doesn’t have to be daunting. Companies like Microsoft and LinkedIn are among those offering training and programs for people who want to learn more.
