How Much Power Does An Energy Efficient Home Use

How much power does an energy efficient home use? If you've ever wondered this, I'm sharing the data from my own home. I built a 6000sf home, and employed several methods to increase energy efficiency. The home was built with Insulated Concrete Forms, the basement slab has insulation under it, and the hvac is a ground source heat pump (geothermal). All of this has resulted in reduced energy bills every single month. This will continue for the life of the home. A little invested up front can lead to massive long term savings.
