1957-63 Full Size Ford Disc Brake Conversion - Fairlane, Galaxie, Ranchero, Starliner, Thunderbird -- I recently bought a 1957 Ford Fairlane and have started trying to make it roadworthy. The first step has been the brakes. While the rear was an easy stock rebuild, I wanted disc brakes on the front. There are a couple of manufacturers of kits for these cars such as Wilwood and Leed Brakes, but they are very expensive. I found a kit from Tomsclassic on eBay that was reasonably priced. This video shows you how to install this brake kit.
