Likely removal of Trump will 'give the green light to cancel culture, BLM'

Sky News host Alan Jones says the most profound issue for thinking people concerned with democracy and freedom is the likely removal of Donald Trump, which “presumably will give the green light” to cancel culture, BLM and every other Marxist outfit.

Mr Jones says President Trump is given “little credit” for the speech he made on Independence Day this year at the Mount Rushmore National Memorial where he condemned, "a merciless campaign to wipe out our history, defame our heroes, erase our values and indoctrinate our children."

President Trump spoke of the sculpture at Mount Rushmore of Washington, Jefferson, Roosevelt and Lincoln and said, "This monument will never be desecrated… angry mobs are trying to tear down statues of our founders and unleash violence in our cities.

“They think the American people are weak and soft and submissive, but they don't know they are strong and won't allow its history and culture to be taken from them,” Mr Trump said.

Mr Jones said, "well, I am sorry, none of this resolute language can be guaranteed under Biden and Harris."

"After all, these are people who aren't prepared to defend the police."

Mr Jones said the US unemployment rate under Donald Trump, pre-pandemic, was the lowest in over half a century, with African-American poverty declining to the lowest rate ever recorded.

"As Shakespeare would say, this is a man more sinned against that sinning," he said.
