Black Eyed Peas with Andouille Sausage and Vidalia Onions
Ingredients
3 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 cup chopped Vidalia onion
2 cloves garlic, (minced)
1 pound and andouille sausage (chicken or turkey)
Two 15 ounce cans of black-eyed peas (Please Pre -Cook)
4 cups chicken stock
garlic salt and black pepper
Blackened Salmon with Israeli Couscous
Ingredients
Salmon
4- 6oz pieces salmon fillets (skin on, scales off)
2 Tbsp. olive oil
2 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp lemon pepper
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
Israeli Couscous
Ingredients
4 cups couscous -120z box (Please Pre - Cook)
4 cups water
2 lemons, juiced
Southern Style Chicken Breast w/ Seasoned Brown Rice
Chicken breast - 4 (cleaned, skinless and boneless)
All Purpose flour - 5-10 oz
Brown Rice - 12 oz (Precooked)
Cilantro - 1 bunch
Garlic clove (chopped) - 2
Lemon juice
Olive oil - 2 oz
garlic salt/pepper
Shopping List :
Proteins:
Salmon (skin on)
Chicken (skinless, boneless)
Andouille Sausage (Chicken or Turkey)
Produce:
Vidalia Onion or Sweet Yellow Onion
Garlic - 1 head
Lemons - 4 to 6
Black Eyed Peas - 30oz.
*Cilantro - one bunch (if you like)
*Italian Parsley - one bunch (if you like)
Additional Items:
Couscous - 12 oz box (traditional or brown if you like)
Olive Oil - 8 oz
Seasonings - please review the above to ensure you have these in your pantry.
