Raised Bed Caps

Raised beds have many virtues. One of them is the ability to easily cover them, to protect our crops from marauding deer, rabbits, wood chucks, chickens, raccoons-you name it.
Our Bed Caps do that and more. Being hinged, they are easy to flip-up, to access the garden beds. It is also easy to clip row cover over them, to provide some frost protection, add a bit of warmth, and insect control. If a hard frost threatens, blankets or tarps can be draped over the beds.
Being cheap and simple to make, we intend to build several of them.
