Trick me if you can

Players pair up and stand opposite each other in between the gates. Gates should be 2-3 yards apart. The leader uses shimmy’s, feint’s, and fakes to the left and right before planting their foot on either of the cones. The Follower must mirror the leader and attempts to plant their foot on the cone also. Coach shouts “change, “and players reverse roles.

Coaching Points:
• Explain how it helps to trick defenders
• Check to see if players are using their whole body for dropping the shoulder and using their eyes to trick their partner.
Progression:
• The leader turns their back on the follower.
• Dribble the ball and stop at the cone.
