Kant's Compromise & His Copernican Revolution
In today's lecture, we discussed how Kant responds to both Hume's criticisms of rationalism and Locke's indirect realism to not only defend rationalism but show how both empiricism and rationalism are needed to attain knowledge. Yet he denies either is able to to help us attain metaphysical knowledge.
