Milford Sound is part of a World Heritage site in the south west corner of the South Island of New Zealand. The famous writer Rudyard Kipling called it the eighth Wonder of the World. Milford has been judged one of the world's top travel destination and is acclaimed as New Zealand's most famous tourist destination with up to 1 million visitors per year.
