Making Dry Hay Is Under Way

First fields of first cut dry hay are getting cut down and tedded out.
We are using are Case MXU 115 and our New Holland 1411 discbine to cut the hay fields. along with our Landini 7860 and our piece of junk tedder to ted the hay out so it can dry and be baled up with our square baler.

Welcome to Southwind Farms.
We are small farm located in Quebec Canada where we raise Beef cattle along with some other farm animals such as pigs chickens and rabbits. During the warmer months you will usually see us in the fields getting our crops in along with doing some upgrades to our farm and maybe some machinery projects. During the colder months we spend our time feeding our animals, logging on the weekends and in the spring time making maple syrup. We might be a small farm compared to some other farms. Nevertheless we are working towards growing the farm each and everyday to make it our full time job.
