The Greater Canyonlands: North (Day 2)

After a short night in a cheap motel to recharge personal and camera batteries we're off again before the sun rises.

I did an early season trip to the area just north of Canyonlands National Park. In an area often referred to as the Greater Canyonlands area. All very similar terrain to the Island in the Sky District but with less erosion by the rivers making for a wide land to explore.
