Here I demonstrate the process for going down and escalator. It can be scary going backwards but it’s actually the safest way. If you have someone that can go first and “spot” you from behind, that would be beneficial while you learn to be comfortable going down alone. Just make sure to be deliberate and cautious while backing up and get that big wheel lined up in the center of a step.
