12/ Surah al Waqi'ah: Ayat 39-42

Surah al Waqi'ah is divided into 4 parts: Jannah, Day of Judgement, Hellfire, Favors/Naima

39 & 40: Sulla= a lot

Why are there two opinions for the Forerunners/Sabiqoon?:
1. ayats 13 & 14 illustrates the degradation of society over time which is supported by a hadith of the Prophet (saw)
2. Umar read the Surah (ayats 13 & 14: MANY of the former peoples & FEW of the later peoples) and was worried his generation was the "later people" and few would be admitted. So the Prophet (saw) made duaa. Allah swt revealed ayats 39 & 40 as a change (MANY of the former peoples & MANY of the later peoples) and there is an opinion that more people will be admitted to Jannah due to his(saw) duaa.

41: People of the Left
Allah swt is scaring us on purpose regarding Hellfire. Don't discount any good deed because it could make a big difference in rank. And you should not take people's rights.

42: People of the left will feel the dry winds even before they enter Hellfire
