Punita Khanna had never had a conversation about her family's history with cancer and health issues. She was raised to believe those were taboo topics of discussion in her community. She was floored when she was diagnosed with breast cancer after a routine screening.

After her oncologist suggested using the Exact Sciences Oncotype DX test to guide her treatment, Punita was thankful to learn that she did not need chemotherapy as part of her treatment.

Now, Punita is an advocate for discussing health issues and cancer histories. She has joined cancer survivor networks and groups and regularly talks about her journey, so that others can learn from her story.
