A Young Teen's Journey Of Finding Her Voice | Muskan Tanwani | TEDxGatewaySalon

Muskan started writing poetry in the sixth grade and has since developed a deep connection with the stage and her own words. Here, she shares about this very connection and her journey at Slam Out Loud which has led her to finding her voice. Also watch for a special performance of 'Indian Nomenclature', an original spoken word poem by Muskan. Muskan is an artist from Slam Out Loud, a journey she describes as magical. She believes that words can help inspire and strongly believes in empathy and integrity to be values that she communicates through her poems. Muskan has been in SOL programs since the last three years and has performed at platforms across the country. She has been featured as a poet by Spoken Fest, UNDP, TEDx as well as been on the student leadership panel for Art1st.
