IPOD MINI 1ST/2ND GEN HARDDRIVE REPLACEMENT/UPGRADE

Come along with me on this journey of putting a CF (compact flash) card in a 1st (or 2nd?) generation iPod mini, replacing that busted wimpy 4gb harddrive with a beastly 32gb! I still can't fit even half of my music on it, but the bigger you go the more expensive the card is, and I wasn't even totally sure it would work because I didn't actually know what was wrong with the iPod to begin with. But I got a pretty good deal on this 32gb card so I thought I'd go for it. It sounded like a fun challenge, and I like tearing shit apart and putting it back together. Anyway, as a professional expert, I am fully qualified to show you how to do this. Well maybe not this. But most other things. This worked for me, anyway.
Apologies for the poor video quality, but until you get me a new camera it's just going to have to suffice, BECKY.

(i don't know anyone named becky)

p.s. at the beginning of the video I mention that it makes this weird whirring noise. once i replaced the harddrive it stopped
