HOW TO MAKE WOODEN WIND CHIMES!

not quite as loud as their aggressive metallic brethren, these wooden chimes let out gentle clunking sounds in the wind. invite them into your yard and/or home to enjoy the soothing sounds of sticks hitting against each other. but really they sound pretty cool. so let's all grab our dowels and saws and string and just go crazy with these magical wind chimes/clunks!

REAL TALK:
i used 5/8" dowels cut to 14", 12", 10", 8", 6", and 4", and attached them to a 4.5"x4.5" piece of wood. next time i'd probabbbbbbly get 3/4" dowels and make them closer in length to one another, because 4" and 6" don't make quite the tone I was after, but it's still gooOOoooOod stuff. the wind catcher piece was about 4.5" x 2.25", with rounded edges
