On desktop google photos, converting original quality images/videos to storage saver. Can't go back

Disclaimer: Boring Video.
Basically, many of you may have photos that are in original photo quality.
This is taking up extra space on your google photos. If you want to convert them to storage saver size.. this video might show you how to do it.

NOTE: THIS PROCESS IS NOT REVERSABLE
I have already warned you in the video.. it is not reversable.. so PLEASE backup your photos and videos in original quality to an external hard drive or some other storage means.

1. Go into photos.google.com on a desktop browser
2. Click on the gear icon.
3. Click on "Manage Storage" in the middle of the screen.
4. Scroll down to the section "Recover storage"
5. Finally.. click on "Learn More" to the right.

6. IF YOU REALLY WANT TO CONVERT YOUR IMAGES/VIDEOS to smaller storage saver quality... CLICK THE Checkbox:

I understand that compressing my existing photos & videos cannot be undone.

Remember this process is forever. So if you NEED the originals. Please download or back them up on an external drive or elsewhere.

7. A button will appear when you enable the checkbox "Compress existing photos & videos"
