30/30 Winchester Doe Hunt

Yes I’m hunting over a feeder in a food plot i planted with a 100 year old drill in a blind I built alone. Actually my mom helped me stand the base up after i got it screwed together. This is a patch of private land amongst a bunch of other patches of private land. There are no crops or rivers. It is rolling pasture land covered in thick cedars and black jacks. People around use it for cows and mainly for oil wells. I have it set up for my boys to hunt. I didn’t do very good in preparing this year, because i was focused on my DIY Alaska hunt. My oldest struck out after setting in this stand morning and evening for 2 weeks. I told him we would work harder next summer in getting ready. I wanted to get another deer before this year was over for the freezer.
