In this video, I’ll update my previous videos on working with Script Fonts in Cut2D Desktop, Cut2D Pro, VCarve Desktop, VCarve Pro, and Aspire Version 10.5.
Vectric released Version 10.5 of their software titles a while back, and I’ve had several questions about working with and formatting Script Fonts. I made a video on working with them a few years back, but I thought enough had changed within the newer software versions that it was time to do an update. I’ll show you how to enter, move, space, and otherwise manipulate the text before welding the letters together to get a nice, smooth transition from one letter to the next. I’ll then show you what the final text looks like after calculating a v-carve toolpath and previewing it.
As usual, if you have any comments or questions about anything I covered in this video, please join me for the Live Q&A, or put ‘em in the comment section below.
On Sunday, August 16th, I’ll be hosting a LIVE Q&A session, where you can ask your questions pertaining to anything I covered in this video. That Q&A starts at 3 pm Eastern time, Noon Pacific time. Hope to see you there!
