Ranked: Purge plays Vengeful Spirit

I'm getting more and more confident with Vengeful Spirit at the moment, even though her winrate IS NOT excellent. But one thing she does pretty well is fight in the laning stage due to the relatively high damage between Magic Missle and Wave of Terror. Some teams even have played her a little as a core hero(Liquid played it mid 1 match).

However, one important thing is that Venge synergizes well with your other heroes. You want to play with allies who do a lot of physical damage, allies that also have -armor, or allies that build a lot of stat items so that you're effectively amplifying them in the mid and late game.

Just make sure that you commit a lot of your early stat points towards Magic Missle and Wave of Terror. You should NOT get more than 1 point in aura early, as the scaling is pretty terrible. Once you hit 6, you should be able to gank or look for ganks with your allies to help set tempo and advance the game state while buying lots of sentries to confidently control the map.
