Terrifying footage from a damaging 7.4-magnitude earthquake in Taiwan shows commuters being rocked on trains and shaken on bridges. Taiwan‘s strongest earthquake in a quarter of a century rocked the island on April 3, damaging buildings and highways. Taiwanese authorities said four people were killed in Hualien county, and more than 700 others were injured. In the capital, Taipei, vehicles pulled over on the side of the road and the city’s subway service was briefly suspended.

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre has said the Tsunami threat has "largely passed" with Taipei seismology authorities claiming it's the worst earthquake since 1999.
