The ever dynamic and energetic Pastor John Gray was on fire tonight! He comes on stage and starts leading the packed Barclays Center crowd in worship. He could easily have a second career as a worship leader.

In between, he reads from scripture. What was most memorable to me was the short message he gave after reading James Chapter 1 Verse 2 - 3 (at 9:20 in the video): "My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience." (NKJV)

He then goes on to say:
"We’re in the Barclays center where the Brooklyn Nets play basketball. Sometimes when you are going for a shot you get fouled by your opponent. But it doesn’t stop you from shooting the shot. Sometimes you shoot your shot and you still get fouled. Sometimes you serve the Lord and the enemy still hits you. Sometimes you’re doing the best you can and the enemy comes out of nowhere. But if you can just get your shot off, if you can just get your praise up, if you can just get your Hallelujah up. Because sometimes even while you are shooting and you are fouled, sometimes the basket goes in. And when [it does], they say “Count it!”
