West Virginia Ghost Town: All Alone in the Town of Thurmond Deep in the Appalachian Mountains. It was nice to have an entire town to myself as I visited the old rail town of Thurmond in Fayette County not too far from the New River Gorge. Who else has been to Thurmond or another ghost town?
