This is a 'Thought for the Day' put together for St. John's Parish in West Belfast by Niall Mc Nally Director of Cast Ministries, by invitation of Fr. Martin Magill.

Niall helps us reflect on some of the ways we can discern the voice of God in our personal lives. We have many distractions & obstacles to overcome, voices competing for our attention, so its important to make space in our prayer time for God's Holy Spirit to quieten the noise around and within us. This spiritual discipline heightens our sensitivity to hear the voice of God.

Come to the quiet waters, still your soul and open wide your heart to the love of God.
