Tour of Our Countrymark Log Home

Ever since we built our log home we have been asked for a tour. So today that is exactly what we are doing. We are giving a tour of our log home. We built this log home in 2018. It isn't a true a log home. It actually has Log Siding that is hand hewn with dovetail corners. The walls are 2x6 conventional framing that is filled with spray insulation. The roof is actually timber framed with 4 x 8 pine timbers. The roof also has 6.6" of foam board insulation. This house is very efficient to heat and cool. Our average Electric bill is only $125 a month. There is no drywall in our log home, we covered all the walls in pine tongue and groove. Living in a log home has been a dream of ours, and we are now living our dream. I would like to say a big thanks to Ed at Countrymark Log homes, they were great to work with.
