The Witcher 3 – Eredin Death March NG+ boss fight for the average gamer

Once you know a few things about setting up your build, Death March is manageable. The Imlerith boss fight was challenging, but the Eredin boss fight was imo very difficult and through many deaths learned the hard way.

I've seen many older videos where guys were using four decoctions and all kinds of other crazy stuff to beat Eredin fairly easy. I thought all that was patched out, because even mimicking most of the build these gamers were using and maximizing my toxicity, I could use only two decoctions and that would make me unable to use any potions. So I used one decoction, superior thunderbolt, superior maribor forest, and constantly use Quen and have Superior Swallow ready. As far as I know there is no "easy" way to do this fight but straight up and understand Eredin's pattern.
*Correction - I find out afterward there is some bug so that if remove and add back acquired tolerance and if you have the triad that does max out your toxicity and you can use more decoctions.*

A few things I learned: you can only hit him three times in a row and he will start counterattacking; trust me, you don't want to get hit. So dodge and learn to dodge around him, not away. In most cases just wait for him to stop swinging, hit him three times, dodge around him, and be patient through his shenanigans. I used heavy attacks only to try to chip away at his health.
