[OLD] The History of the Koreanic Languages

The Koreanic languages are a language family that comprises Korean’s numerous dialects and Jeju. Languages in this family are characterized by particles and a subject-object-verb sentence structure, among other features. They are written in Hangul, the world’s only major featural alphabet. This video presents the history and evolution of the Koreanic languages from 1500 BCE to the present.

Disclaimer: all dates are approximations, and the video only presents one of many hypotheses concerning the origins of the Koreanic languages.
