Baler's Eye View - Baling Hay 2021

Having some fun with the gopro on a small batch of hay, with our Massey Ferguson 124 hay baler (with New Holland 70 thrower). Making hay in the hills of Conway, MA.
View one: Hay pickup
View two: Packer Forks (pushing hay into the bale chamber)
View three: Knotter, metering wheel (for bale length - watch for when it trips and ties a bale!)
View Four: Bale Thrower (and wagon!)
Some anticipated FAQ's :)
-Yep, those windrows are small. This is second cutting, and the weather has not been super conducive to hay drying. Have had several overcast days, including the first half of this baling day. So in times like these we opt for smaller windrows to actually get the hay dry. (Plus, this is New England - thick yield per acre and lack of drying days means that things like V-rakes aren't seen in these parts very often :) )
-Yeah, the bales came out a little loose. I actually adjusted it later on - but what was left on this field was a bit inconsistent - and see above for moisture concern. They came out well in the end, just had a few "bananas" to deal with.
Let me know any other questions, as always! Thanks for watching!
