Mission: This video was part of a series of 29 videos showing the many faces of poverty in the EU Member States, Iceland and Norway. It features Krisztiàn, a 2 year old boy who lives with his parents in Gilvanfa, a remote Roma village and one of the poorest in Hungary. Thanks to the Cheerful Childhood Foundation, which helps to integrate disadvantaged children aged 0-5 through early skills development, Krisztiàn is being given a positive educational experience - the first step in breaking the vicious cycle of inherited poverty.
