Los Angeles 4K Drive: Hollywood Hills, Hollywood Sign & Mulholland at Sunset

On this relaxing 4K sunset drive, we wind up through the Hollywood Hills of Los Angeles on a warm spring evening, climbing from Beachwood Canyon up past the Hollywood Sign over to Mulholland Drive and down through the leafy streets of Outpost Estates just as golden hour settles in.

The drive begins on Beachwood Drive and twists up the narrow residential streets of Beachwood Canyon, originally developed in the 1920s as the 'Hollywoodland' subdivision - the same development that gave the Hollywood Sign its name (the sign originally read "HOLLYWOODLAND" until 1949). We crest the hills near the Hollywood Sign with crowds of tourists and locals gathered at Lake Hollywood Park for sunset. We pass the Hollywood Reservoir and descend Wonder View Drive toward the 101 Freeway. From there we cross onto a short stretch of Mulholland Drive before dropping down Outpost Drive through the upscale Outpost Estates neighborhood, ending where Outpost meets Franklin Ave back in the city.

Filmed in 4K on a sunny Thursday evening, just before sunset, as the light turned warm and golden through the Hollywood Hills.
