Tesla Model Y takes beating after tennis ball-sized hailstorm #shorts

A Tesla Model Y was among the many pieces of property damaged in an extraordinarily destructive hailstorm in southern Bavaria in late August.

Footage taken by Maximilian Schwarz in Schlehdorf, Germany, on Saturday, August 26, shows the rear window of his Tesla being pelted by hail outside of his home. Footage captured by Schwarz after the storm shows damage to the rear window, taillights, and glass roof of his vehicle.

According to local reports, some hailstones were as large as tennis balls, causing serious damage in nearby Benediktbeuern.

Around 800 properties in Benediktbeuern were damaged during the storm, with about 60 percent severely affected, local fire chief Daniel Sliva said.
