A Psychedelic Point of View (abridged): Terence McKenna

An excerpt from a longer lecture, available on youtube. This is the essence of the lecture, the first half hour or so, with the rest cut off, as it was filled with Terence being asked questions which weren't as sharp and concise as his own premeditated rap.

In this lecture, Terence takes us through some of his psychedelic visionary glimpses into the nature of language, how its codes entrap our consciousness and yet at the same time are keys to unlocking hyperspatial dimensions of awareness and understanding. He talks about how form is a metamorphic field which retains its consistency moreso than other inanimate material objects such as chairs, wood, metal and other molecular substances, because humans, plants and animals retain an encoded resonance in hyperspace beyond time's edge of dissolving flux. A wonderful glimpse into Terence's mind and his genius, in regards to the meaning of animate life and the burgeoning purposefulness of humanity as we get closer and closer to the transcendental object.
