Marine Steve and I so enjoyed Camp Ripan and glad we opted for this location rather than the center of town. Town would have been more convenient for meals since dinner at Camp Ripan is very expensive but a gigantic breakfast buffet is included in rates.

However, we never slept! Because each time we dashed out to see the Northern Lights or walk to town or walk to the main building for meals in the way below zero Fahrenheit temperatures, the cold would jive us up to infinity and beyond. A really great stay in an atmosphere where snow really looks like snow!
