Taiwan's Wai'ao Beach: Tips, prices, & what to expect! (Why ow at Wai'ao?)

I filmed this nearly two months ago on a day trip to Wai'ao beach in northeastern Taiwan with my friend Melody who I met in Taipei. It was my first time traveling to the east coast of the island at that point, and we were unfortunately met by sort of poor weather... but of course I come from being used to dry heat so I still worked up a heavy sweat.

In this video we go over what you can expect to find there, how to get there, and the prices of traveling around the Wai'ao area. I also pick up a lot of sea garbage, try and fail to pet two stray dogs, and pet one domestic sweet dog named Cocoa.
