Panhard AML 60 Armoured Car, close up inside and out, at Echoes of History 2024
The Panhard AML (automitrailleuse légère, or "light armoured car" in English) 60 is a very successful French reconnaissance car design that was produced for nearly 30 years (1960 - 1987) has been exported to over 50 countries and which has seen action in numerous conflicts particularly in Africa.
This version was armed with a 60mm Brandt gun-mortar and two medium MAS AA-52 NF-1 machine guns, but there were an extensive range of variants armed with up to a 90mm gun!
